Ladakh has been providing stylish trend since the early 90's. In the year 1992, friends Zi Juan and Keith used to sell printed T's at Glebe Markets at the height of the 90's grunge fashion. Unprinted styles, street and casual fashion soon followed, all designed, cut and made in a crowded Marrickville lounge room. FInally in 1993, Ladakh became a registered business and a fashion icon was born. That same year Ladakh sold wholesale to their first retail customers at Bondi Beach and Newtown. Later on in 1995, Ladakh wholesaled to more and more inner city suburban boutiques in Sydney. Ladakh's emphasis on fabulous quality and fit became known and loved. Thank god to the year 1999 when Ladakh's garments were available in all states of Australia and New Zealand. In 2005, Ladakh was awarded "No. 1 Womenswear Brand" by Rag Trader magazine. Now in 2011 we find Ladakh going on tour to the USA attending various trade shows and available at Pesca. Throughout the years there is still so much to come!
